This is a fantastic opportunity to join Sodexo Live! at St. James’ Park, Newcastle United Football Club for the new upcoming football season. Season 2023/24 is going to be the biggest yet, with NUFC taking on the Champions League.

Role Responsibility

In this role you should work proactively during service whilst striving to provide the highest possible level of customer service. The main responsibilities of the Service Staff role are, but not limited to:

Welcoming guests, taking orders and guests
Care about customer satisfaction and deliver the optimal client service experience
Serving guests in a friendly, welcoming and efficient manner while maintaining a clean and safe work environment
Help answer questions and make suggestions regarding food and beverage choices and related items
To remain attentive to guests needs, working in a timely manner to minimise any wait times
Extensive knowledge of all products stocked, and any applicable promotions
Clearing all used or unnecessary cutlery, crockery, glassware, or debris from guest’s tables
Be flexible & adaptable to changes, working in different areas as necessary due to business demands or in line with any reasonable request.
All individuals must work in complete adherence to the company procedures set by Sodexo Live! and Newcastle United.

The Ideal Candidate

Excellent verbal communication skills
Being friendly yet professional
Being a team player with an ability to resolve conflict and take criticism
Good attention to detail and punctuality
Being proactive is key
Experience within a hospitality, catering or bar setting
