Resourcing Advisor - 8 month FTC

Job Introduction

We’re looking for an experienced recruiter or talent attraction specialist to join our busy Talent Acquisition team who are responsible for recruiting the top talent into a wide range of vacancies at Sodexo.

As a Resourcing Advisor you’ll be accountable for managing the recruitment campaigns from the moment a vacancy is approved to the issue of contract. You’ll be an expert in attracting exceptional talent using a variety of sourcing methods including direct sourcing, managing stakeholders expectations and providing both a brilliant candidate and hiring manager experience whilst working to meet agreed time to hire, cost to hire and quality of hire SLA’s.

This will be a demanding role with the need to multitask, work at pace and manage different priorities. A proven track record recruiting externally or in house using direct sourcing methodology is essential.

You’ll have the opportunity and support to develop your stakeholder management and consultancy skills, recruit across a variety of sectors and disciplines and use some of the latest attraction, assessment and shortlisting tools.

You’ll initially be home based with regular contact via video calls, email and phone to your wider team, once it is safe to do so there will be an requirement to travel to our offices in Salford for monthly team meetings. This position is initially offered on an 8 month FTC however there may be potential for future extension.

 

Role Responsibility

  • Manage a high volume of vacancies to a successful conclusion using a variety of sourcing techniques and methods including direct sourcing
  • Partner with hiring managers to create a robust planning process which captures the need, the sourcing plan, selection approach and clarifies the roles of key parties during the recruitment and selection process
  • Deliver against KPIs of quality, time, cost, sourcing mix and candidate/line manager experience, each routinely tracked and reported against
  • Provide fair and objective feedback to candidates who request further information on their performance during the selection process. Ensure the effective utilisation of the ATS and social media in order to build a bank of talent
  • Provide specialist advice and guidance to hiring managers on the most appropriate selection and assessment methods available for each vacancy. Sourcing, developing or creating specialist exercises or assessments where required which contribute to the ongoing development of the suite of selection tools
  • Engage and build relationships with segment HR Business Partners to hiring forecasts and support planning and prioritisation of resourcing needs on a short, medium and long-term basis
  • Be a true Brand Ambassador, by promoting Sodexo’s Social media presence, through activity and engaging managers use of these tools

The Ideal Candidate

  • Demonstrable experience and track record in utilising creative and effective ways of sourcing quality candidates directly, as well as the confidence and interpersonal skill to be able to approach passive candidate
  • Highly organised and disciplined in managing a varied workload and the end-to-end resourcing process
  • Experience in conducting consultative campaign calls creating suitable attraction and selection plans with agreed touchpoints and deadlines, setting clear expectations with hiring managers
  • Experience utilising social recruiting tools, an ATS or CRM, MS office and Teams
  • Brilliant influencing and relationship building skills
  • Commercially aware, able to articulate and demonstrate the value add of the Talent Acquisition team
  • Customer focused and able to provide a high quality of service positive experience for both candidates and the hiring community

Package Description

£23,000 - 27,000 per annum pro rata for duration of contract (April to December)
