Your Roles as An OMU Case Administrator:

Are you ready to kick-start your career in administration? We have a fantastic opportunity for a focused and enthusiastic individual to become a vital part of our established team at HMP Northumberland as an Offender Management Unit (OMU) Case Administrator.

As an OMU Case Administrator, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our team, contributing to the diligent and effective administration of our prison. This is no ordinary administration role, you will be working in a target driven, high pressure environment where you will be managing multiple caseloads in a flexible and dynamic manor. You will be expected to liaise with multiple stakeholders to deliver to their needs and the needs of the prison to a high standard whilst adhering to our policies and procedures. Whilst the role is challenging, you will be surrounded by the support and knowledge of our welcoming and experienced team. You will also be expected to participate in a training course designed to equip you with the skills and competencies required to excel in this role.

The Ideal Candidate:

This role is a great opportunity for someone looking for their first administration role or wanting to continue developing their administration competencies in a new environment. 

Whilst some administration experience would be advantageous, we would still encourage you to apply if you meet the following criteria:

• Some experience in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Sound written and verbal communication skills.
• Awareness of GDPR principles.
• Proactive, innovative, and eager to learn and develop.
• Demonstration of excellent organisational skills, even under pressure.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
• Reliable, integrous, and professional. 
• Ability to meet deadlines in a target-driven environment.
