Nutrition and Dietetic Data Administrator - 8 months FTC

We are recruiting a Nutrition and Dietetic Data Administrator on a 12 month FTC as part of our DRIVE programme which is an ongoing innovation and transformation programme to standardise our food offer across Sodexo. This global programme will drive efficiencies, support our segments in their offerings and provide access to useful data and reporting to benefit our business.
As a Nutrition and Dietetic Data Administrator, you will support the Dietetic team in capturing, collating, verifying and processing nutrition and allergen information. This role will require direct and effective communication with the business segments, buyers, product data base teams and external stakeholders. It will involve professional administrative support relating to general nutrition enquiries, both from within the business and external consumers/guests.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in data management and strong analytical skills.
This position is offered on a fixed term contract for 12 months and will be a home based position, adhoc travel may be required once it is safe to do so.
Role Responsibility
- To support the nutrition and dietetic team in collecting, verifying and processing nutrition and allergen information
- To work closely with the procurement and data team on product specification specifically on nutrition and allergens, as well as nutritional attributes
- To support the dietitians in the assessment of menus to meet nutritional criteria’s across the range of service lines and consumer requirements.
- To conduct regular sense checking of nutrition data within the database and within the recipe management system
- To maintain day to day nutrition and dietetic enquiries and supplier information within the nutrition and dietetic supporting mailbox(s)
- Manage workload and nutrition queries effectively and independently
The Ideal Candidate
What’s essential:
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to plan and organise workload effectively
- Meticulous and accurate with a good knowledge of numeracy
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Demonstrates discretion and can deal with confidential issues especially in relation to allergies and consumer queries
- Experienced user of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook
Where we can be flexible:
- Dietetics graduate or Registered Nutritionist or Dietetic Assistant
- Working knowledge on Food labelling / Food specifications / Allergens / product specifications and labelling functions
