Kitchen Porter

Job Introduction

  • 37.5 hours per week 
  • Monday–Friday: Earlies 07:00–15:00; Monday–Thursday: Lates 13:00–21:00; Friday Lates 11:30–19:30; Saturday, Sunday & Bank Holidays: Split shift 08:30–13:30 and 16:30–19:00.
  • £12.21 per hour

Job Description:

Are you looking for a hands-on role in a fast-paced kitchen environment? Sodexo is seeking a dedicated Kitchen Porter to join our team at Wavell Combined Mess, Aldershot, Evelyn Woods Road GU11 2LG. If you thrive in a team setting and take pride in keeping things clean and organised, we’d love to hear from you!

What You’ll Do:

  • Ensure the kitchen, utensils, and equipment are kept clean and hygienic.
  • Assist chefs and kitchen staff with basic tasks when needed.
  • Manage dishwashing and waste disposal efficiently.
  • Keep stock of cleaning supplies and report any shortages.
  • Follow all food safety and health & safety regulations.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A team player with a positive attitude.
  • Ability to work in a busy kitchen environment.
  • Good attention to detail and cleanliness.
  • Previous experience is a plus, but not essential – full training provided!
