IS&T Category Manager

What you’ll do:
  • Manage assigned IS&T-focused categories, increasing international coverage and driving efficiency.
  • Develop and lead category management sourcing strategies across the UK & Ireland.
  • Collaborate with global buying teams to align and implement global category strategies.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across Supply Management in the UK.
  • Ensure compliance to company policies, maintaining a focus on risk mitigation.
  • Manage a pipeline of projects and initiatives based on business need and opportunity analysis.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of the Global Supply Management.
 
What you bring:
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Buying/ Category Management. 
  • Experience in IT procurement would be particularly relevant. 
  • Ability to work efficiently in a multicultural and matrix environment.
  • Proven track record in contract negotiation and commercial performance improvement.
  • Graduate calibre, working towards CIPS/ISM or equivalent qualification.
  • Strong presentation skills, both verbally and written, with excellent communication abilities.
  • Financial acumen, results-oriented, with a focus on revenue generation and savings.
  • Flexibility for international travel where required; fluency in English, French/Spanish a plus.
