Hospitality Sales Manager - Major Events

Sodexo Live! have a fantastic opportunity for a talented experienced, highly motivated Hospitality Sales Manager to lead hospitality sales based with our team at Ascot.

We are looking for a sales leader with a proven track record in hospitality sales who can manage and lead our major events sales team in a high-performance culture to enable them to achieve hospitality sales targets primarily for two outdoor events:  RHS Chelsea Flower Show Hospitality and Henley Royal Regatta.

You will be pro-active and energetic with a proven track record in achieving sales targets ideally in the hospitality/events sector. With a great track record in selling, you will create and deliver a dynamic sales strategy and have a clear understanding of current sales, pipeline and all sales activity in order to achieve set targets.  This role would suit a great leader keen to take the lead with sales operations with excellent business acumen.

Role Responsibility

  • To lead the sales team of two to drive hospitality sales revenue for RHS Chelsea Flower Show Hospitality and Henley Royal Regatta
  • Leading by example in sales and account management
  • Accurate reporting of sales and pipeline to both external and internal stakeholders
  • Managing the successful delivery of table plan to the operations team
  • Debt Management
  • Creating and delivering a dynamic Sales Strategy for both events
  • Driving a high-performance sales culture through leaderships, coaching and mentoring
  • Obtaining new business through networking and referrals
  • Attend client meetings and event attendance
  • Driving and delivering client cultivation events as part of your strategy 

The Ideal Candidate

Essential

  • Dynamic and adaptable in a constantly moving landscape
  • Not afraid to pick up the phone
  • Experience in Sales Strategy & Leadership
  • Self-driven and approaches things with strategy
  • Be target driven to drive and succeed in a business where we reward success.
  • Ability to negotiate, work with flexible schedule and changing priorities is essential
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.

Desirable

  • Sales within a top end hospitality event
  • The desire to have a career in Hospitality / cultural / event Sales
  • Driving License

Package Description

£30,000 - £35,000pa + commission/incentive scheme + excellent benefits

Location: Ascot

Permanent

Work Pattern – 40 hrs pw Mon – Friday with flexibility to cover occasional weekend and evening work for event & networking purposes. We can offer a hybrid working model with 3 days pw in the office and 2 remote.
