Grounds Maintenance Operative
About the role
At Sodexo, we have a team of dedicated Grounds Maintenance Operatives behind us, and we currently have a vacancy for you to join our amazing team!
If you have a passion for ensuring our grounds are kept pristine, then this could be the job for you!
You will ensure that the grass, shrubs and plants are fertilised and maintained. You will remove weeds, to ensure that our flowers bloom.
On those winter days, the snow will be cleared and the grounds will be gritted to ensure the safety of our customers, employees and visitors.

A few things about you
As this is a customer facing role, it is important to have a helpful and friendly attitude. You’ll also work as part of a team, so strong communication skills are key.
PA1 and PA6 spraying certificates and Horticultural NVQ Level 2 would be great, but we would still love to hear from you if you don’t hold these.
As Sodexo embeds a strong Safety culture in everything we do, there will be procedures to follow such as Health & Safety, so it is vital to have good knowledge of this.
