Job Introduction

A new and exciting opportunity to be part of ongoing development and investment in our retail offering on site at Manchester University Hospital. Greggs will be a brand-new store, the first of its kind in a healthcare setting, offering a product range that includes the well-known favourites and a tailored health focussed range.

You’ll be instrumental in the set up of this new store and have input into developing processes, designing promotional activity, and building a team to support this 7 day a week operation.

What You’ll Do

Deliver a fast and friendly customer service by putting the customer at the centre of all store operations
Develop a high performing team focused on delivering a fast & friendly customer experience
Achieve consistently high standards to meet customers’ expectations
Deliver relevant added-value to customers to increase sales
Maximise profit through effective cost control

What You Bring

Proven experience of managing operations and leading a team within catering, food retail or hospitality industry
Experience of delivering training and an understanding of relevant Health & Safety, Employment, and other legislative requirements
Experience of implementation and adherence to HACCP
Experience dealing with branded outlets would be desirable
Drive to achieve results and deliver high standards
