General Building Maintenance Operative

About the role

Are you the go-to person, the one who answers the questions, with the know of how to keep the facilities running like clockwork? We currently have an opportunity for a Maintenance Operator to join our team. This is a great opportunity for a customer focused individual to join a world leading food and facilities management company.

 

 

A few things about you 

You must be a strong team player with great communication skills, who enjoys working as part of a team.

As Sodexo embeds a strong Safety culture in everything we do, there will be procedures, site specific guidelines / requirements and regulations to follow such, so it is vital that you have a good understand of Health and Safety at Work regulations.

 

 

Role Responsibility

To assist with maintenance of the building, repairing of office, plant-room and classified & non classified production areas on a planned and reactive basis, assist with office/furniture moves & general day to day needs. You will ensure that their allocated area is clean to the required specification whilst adhering to defined procedures & manage daily work lists as generated by the helpdesk. This may include painting, general repair work & issuing of work permits.

The Ideal Candidate

You will work as part of a team and will need to have strong communication skills.

If you have previous experience working in a GMP manufacturing environment that’s great!

If not, but you have customer service experience and strong attention to detail, we still want to hear from you!

so, it is vital that you have a good understand of Health and Safety at Work regulations and previous experience adhering to set engineering standards.
