Café Modern One, at the Gallery of Modern Art One is looking for new full or part time Front of House team members.

Previous experience of working in a fast paced, busy cafe environment is a must for this role.

The role is full time and requires flexibility and will include weekend and occasional evening work. This is a highly interactive role - applicants must have an excellent command of both written and spoken English. We want our customers to receive the best customer service great - Our emphasis is on great food, served with a smile!

Role Responsibility

Welcoming guests, taking orders and serving beverages to guests
Care about customer satisfaction and deliver the optimal client service experience
Serving guests in a friendly, welcoming and efficient manner while maintaining a clean and safe work environment
Help answer questions and make suggestions regarding food and beverage choices and related items

The Ideal Candidate

Great barista skills – but training can be provided
Cash handling experience
Commitment & passion to deliver the highest standards of customer service
Heaps of energy, positivity & enthusiasm, ability to work under pressure
Fantastic communication skills both orally and written
A high standard of personal presentation
