Front of House/ Catering Lead

Job Introduction

As a Front of House/ Catering Lead at Sodexo in Chevron - Westferry Circus, E14 4HA, you will be responsible for providing the clients and customers with impeccable service for the customer “experience” and Journey. You must be a fantastic team player who thrives in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. You will require excellent communication and organisational skills as well as strong attention to detail. What you’ll do:

  • Receive, order, deliver hospitality to the various meeting rooms across the 3 floors at WFC.
  • Manage Catering Stock control.
  • Provide support for the staff breakout areas and coffee machines (this will be in the porter’s absence)
  • Back of House Duties, all paperwork, cleaning, and training and H&S to be upheld at all times.
  • Maintain good communications with suppliers ensuring quality control.
  • Ability to anticipate requests.
  • Proactive in other areas outside of the catering requirement
  • Requirement to work within the team & to cross train.
  • Manage one staff member in the dept.

 What you bring:

  • Be able to think on their feet.
  • Problem solving
  • Customer complaints to be dealt with professionally and quickly.
  • Adapt to failed suppliers with resolutions.
  • Report to line manager any inconsistences within service delivery
  • Adhere to legislation on food handling, allergens etc., completing associated training to demonstrate knowledge.
  • Understand and manage ordering of all catering supplies, online and by other means.
  • Attention to detail required for continuity.
  • Allergen Awareness
  • Good Customer focus

Package Description

  • 40 hours per week.
