Role Responsibility

Working alongside the Security Guard represent the Client providing a professional, efficient service, ensuring all activities are handled effectively and accurately. Working alongside the Security Guard ensuring all employees/contractors to site have been screened, temperature checks performed, and mandatory masks provided. To be prepared to assist your colleagues, in a willing and positive manner and move from one activity to another.

Responsibility for ensuring enhanced cleaning is delivered on time To always look for time efficient ways of completing any activity, communicate effectively with all team members and participate in all team activities to ensure the legal & company requirements for fire, health, safety & hygiene are met and bring to the attention of the GSM any areas of training you feel you need or have missed. To provide support to the Security Guard ensuring that the desk is not left unmanned during welfare breaks during core business hours To be competent in all duties such as Site Business Management Systems and sensitive time frame alarms are dealt with in a timely manner, answering the telephone and forwarding on calls, access/egress, correct completion of paperwork and reports etc To assist the Security Guard in keeping the area tidy and clutter free.   

Complete checks of all facility rooms in use and provide cleaning as required to ensure there are no immediate maintenance/cleaning issues and report as necessary, floor walks with enhanced cleaning performed of site to promote a positive and proactive vision of Sodexo Covid-19 controls to support the Warehouse operations.

To communicate effectively with all team members and to be friendly, pleasant and polite at all times to attend company briefing and training sessions as and when required to assist in the preparation of and participation in special functions at the Client/Company requests. To look clean and smart, ensuring that the uniform provided is used and worn correctly and to follow the appearance and conduct policy.

All paperwork is accurate and reliable, and information is stored correctly, excellent Client feedback, all audits passed. Skills, Knowledge and previous experience of working in a similar service environment within Pharmaceuticals, a strong focus on customer service, understanding of GmP standards, high level of personal hygiene relevant training, qualifications and experience to deliver services in line with legislative and statutory requirements Awareness of the need to provide services in a sensitive manner such as not to affect Clients business reputation

The Ideal Candidate

Essential excellent first impressions, Ability to multitask and priorities and work on initiative. Ability to work as a team and as an individual. Reliable and Trustworthy, Flexible, Proactive and a can-do attitude, Good general health, Good communication, numeric and literacy skills, Attention to detail, IT Skills Desirable, You will need to be aged 18 or over, a confident communicator who is a team player with the drive to provide a friendly and professional service at all times. It would be a benefit to have some security experience and your SIA licence, however it's not essential, as we provide full SIA (Security Industry Authority) licence training, Good knowledge and understanding of the Pharmaceutical practices.

Package Description

Part time, fixed term role, working Saturdays and Sundays with additional hours available during the weekdays/nights to cover annual leave or absences. The role is for a floor captain who would be multi-skilled with a can-do attitude with the ability to move from one activity to another.

Working alongside the Security guard (*SIA licence would be desirable*) offer an outstanding customer experience from greeting to host delivering enhanced cleaning. Ensure the cleanliness and housekeeping of Security, surrounding areas and site are at the highest standard during the time on duty.
