Sodexo Health & Care have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Finance Analyst to join our team in Manchester.

This is a newly created role which is fundamental to the overall success of the business and the contracts. We are looking for an experienced Finance Analyst who can join the onsite teams and help drive reporting improvements through knowledge of excel and other systems. You will have the opportunity to create reports from scratch and the opportunity to redesign existing reports. 

As the role is based across two sites, you will have the opportunity to meet the extended Manchester Foundation Trust teams and create standard reporting which can be used across both sites.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• To develop, maintain and analyse accurate weekly and monthly KPIs and Management Information, assisting the management team in the efficient running and improvement of the contact and ensuring the delivery of budget/forecast targets.
• To support the production of accurate monthly accounts through the implementation and review of finance procedures across all services.
• Develop and maintain various financial models and standard templates to assist in the effective running of the contract. This will include daily, weekly and monthly reporting and standardising across both sites for Operational Teams to use. 
• Develop theoretical margin model for Retail Outlets and Patient Dining offers to monitor against and implement monthly reporting. Working alongside Site Finance Managers and Service Managers
• Work with the segment retail analyst and site service managers to develop and implement site specific retail reporting to drive efficiencies and improve profit.  
• Work closely with Site Finance Managers to develop and maintain monthly finance review packs for Management Teams (including analysis of actual v budget, actual v forecast and any forecast projections)
• Work with the Site Finance Managers and Site Operational teams to compile and review budgets and forecasts
• Adopt a continuous improvement approach, keeping up-to-date with changes in policy, procedure and legislation, and revisiting key policies regularly to ensure the department is up to date on Finance practices.

 THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

You will be an experienced Finance Analyst who has held a similar role in a fast-paced environment. You will have the ability to analyse information and create reports and presentations to communicate your findings. You will be improvement focused and customer centric.  Above all you will have advanced Excel skills.

• strong excel skills which can be demonstrated through reporting and modelling
