About the role
Are you the person with the know-how to keep facilities running like clockwork? We currently have an opportunity for an Electrical Engineer to support the operation and maintenance of all our equipment and installations within our prestigious building, located in Central London.
You’ll ensure that all Risk Assessments and Method Statements are up to date to meet current standards and regulations. You’ll carry out electrical condition report testing (EICR) using NICEIC (or equivalent) paperwork.
Here are some other responsibilities (but not limited too) that you can expect:
- Weekly and periodic inspections
- Escorting and supervising sub-contractors on site
- Provide an on-call site cover
- Fault finding, diagnosing and fixing any electrical issues, including but not limited to general lighting, building controls, small power and distribution, BMS systems and other equipment found in modern
A few things about you
If you’re a bright spark who knows ‘watts watt’ and holds a City and Guilds (or equivalent) in Building Services or Electrical Engineering, then we want to hear from you!
Experience of maintaining some of the following would be great: LHV/LV, MCC’s, Switchboards, Generators and Lighting. You’ll ensure that you complete and take responsibility of any task given and be able to work independently.
You’ll bring your flexible approach as the nature of work may require occasional travel to our other local and admired sites.
Please note that due to the nature of the job, it can be physical at times.
