Door Maintenance Technician

Job Introduction

About the role

We have an amazing opportunity for a Door Technician to join our lovely team at Grange Castle to carry out specialist technical and non-technical work as deemed appropriate to the continuing maintenance function of plant/building Doors and their associated properties and to assist if required the Facilities maintenance team over the full range of their duties.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Carry out maintenance and repair of Door equipment and services including, Rapid roll, Roller shutter, Horton interlock, automated doors, revolving doors and small installation works automated personnel airlocks, wheel locks FACC automatic gates.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on all the above along with standard office doors
  • Log all door faults with the facility helpdesk
  • Complete all tasks as issued to you from the team leads / planning team
  • Continuous monitoring of Kahn Bahn  door spares and place orders were necessary with external supply base
  • Close off all paperwork in compliance with site cGMP protocol
  • Complete & close preventative maintenance (PM) & corrective maintenance (CM) work orders in compliance with Qual 0303 following site training
  • Advocate and develop a positive health and safety environment onsite
  • Generate method statements, risk assessment & safe plans of action
  • Fault finding on access control systems
  • A few things about you: 
  • Qualification in mechanical or electrical engineering
  • Trained and certified in the electrical principals Level 6
  • 3-5 years’ experience in similar function/role
  • Experience preferably in a multinational corporate cGMP environment
  • Demonstrated people and organizational skills
  • Fluent English (oral and written)
  • Computer literate in MS office

Package Description

  • Monday - Friday from 9am to 6pm
  • 40 hours per week
  • Pay - €19.00 per hour
  • Contract – Permanent, Full Time
  • Induction training provided 
  • Free parking on-site
  • Uniform provided
