DBS Administrator

Job Introduction

Sodexo's Schools segment have a fantastic opportunity for an Administrator to join our team based from Trigate House in Oldbury.

We work with over 100 schools across the UK offering an integrated facilities management and school food solution. We help make schools caring, nurturing places for children and a great place to work for staff.

In this role you will provide a confidential and efficient administration support of Disclosure Barring Services (DBS), Safer Recruitment and Child Protection tasks across the Sodexo business.

You will be an amazing communicator, able to pick up the phone and confidently speak to internal and external stakeholders with ease. Your attention to detail will be second to none - you understand the importance of compliance and respect the confidentiality of people's personal data!

This role is subject to Safer Recruitment checks and the successful applicant will be required to complete a DBS.

Role Responsibility

Supporting our Safer Recruitment and Child Protection Co-Ordinators in:

  • DBS processing
  • DBS queries
  • Reference checks
  • Central register maintenance

There will be other ad-hoc duties as part of this varied role

The Ideal Candidate

  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Great communication skills by telephone and email
  • Ability to retain confidentiality
  • Knowledge of PowerPoint, Microsoft XP and Excel Packages
