Casual Front of House at St. James' Park Newcastle United Football Club

Job Introduction

Sodexo Live! are currently looking to add to our Casual Match Day Catering and Hospitality team to deliver a world class experience. The roles that fall into the ‘Front of House’ department, are as follows:

  • Waiting Staff
  • Drinks Service Staff
  • Box Staff
  • Kiosk Staff
  • Fine Dining Staff
  • Glass Collector

In any of these roles, you should work proactively during service whilst striving to provide the highest possible level of customer service. The main responsibilities of the Front of House role are, but not limited to:

  • To assist with food service, which may be buffet service, a la carte dining or retail catering
  • Working in adherence with Food Allergens information, service procedures and legislation
  • To remain attentive to guests needs, working in a timely manner to minimise any wait times
  • Ensuring all food and beverage products served are of the required standard, well presented, and served in line with service guidelines
  • Extensive knowledge of all products stocked, and any applicable promotions
  • Maintaining a safe and tidy work environment, with any effective equipment reported
  • Clearing all used or unnecessary cutlery, crockery, glassware, or debris from guest’s tables
  • Ensuring stock and products are rotated as necessary
  • Be flexible & adaptable to changes, working in different areas as necessary due to business demands or in line with any reasonable request.

All individuals must work in complete adherence to the company procedures set by Sodexo Live! and Newcastle United.
