Job Introduction

Sodexo's Integrator team have an excellent opportunity for a Building Management Systems Manager (BMS Manager) to join us working with our client based from Belfast.

In this role you will ensure the effective operation of a large governments Building Management Systems.  You will provide expert knowledge, guidance and support in their Carbon Management Strategy, operation of the BMS and to ensure the safe and timely completion of planned and reactive maintenance.

You will be an expert in managing a BMS with the relevant qualifications and have an excellent understanding of working to support Sustainability targets.

This is an exciting opportunity to work within a dynamic account team and alongside Energy and Sustainability professionals to drive Energy and Sustainability improvements on a large and publicly visible portfolio.

Role Responsibility

  • Ensure the effective operation of a large governments Building Management Systems (BMS)
  • Provide expert knowledge, guidance and support in our clients Carbon Management Strategy.
  • Operation of the BMS and to ensure the safe and timely completion of planned and reactive maintenance.
  • Work closely with other supervisors, engineers and managers to deliver continued support of building services.
  • Provide Utility data and assistance with compilation of regular reporting.
  • develop and implement efficient operation of BMS/BEMS control systems to ensure client site comfort in a sustainable manner.
  • Complete fault diagnosis and rectification on the whole range of BMS/BEMS equipment
  • Train Maintenance Teams, Heating Engineers, trades and other staff in the operation and use of the BMS/BEMS and metering systems.

 

 

The Ideal Candidate

Essential

  • Relevant qualification/experience in reporting and management of BMS/BEMS automated controls related subject for relevant systems e.g. Schneider (BAS 20800 & Sigma), Trend 963, Sigma and Cylon systems
  • To have served a recognised Level 4 qualification (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering Maintenance or an appropriate engineering discipline or related subject.
  • The postholder will be expected to occasionally work in areas at height, in cramped plant rooms, and areas where access is restricted.  Work may be indoors or outdoors at all times of the year and across the NI Estate.
  • Competent with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Desirable

  • City and Guilds Level 1 Diploma or NVQ Level 1 Certificate in Plumbing, Heating, and Ventilation
  • JIB ECS card
  • Experience of metering systems and associated reporting
  • IOSH Certificate
  • PASMA Licenced
  • IPAF Licenced
  • Experience of the Government Services sector or large estate services supplier
