Assistant Cleaning Manager

Job Introduction

As a General Cleaning Assistance Manager at Sodexo, you play a pivotal role in maintaining and monitoring cleaning standards to ensure client sites are compliant and audit-ready. Working with a diverse team, you'll oversee day-to-day operations to deliver consistent service excellence and uphold safety regulations.

What you’ll do:

• Lead the day-to-day operations of the cleaning team, ensuring compliance with standards and contract specifications.

• Conduct weekly and monthly audits with supervisors, staff, and clients to maintain service quality.

• Ensure adherence to health & safety, hygiene, cleanliness, fire, and COSHH regulations.

• Manage service requests and incidents effectively, including out-of-hours response when necessary.

• Supervise team activities and ensure efficient cleaning operations.

• Monitor stock levels and provide budget-related information to site administration.

• Document completion of duties accurately and review records after completion.

• Recruit, train, motivate, and appraise staff to promote good employee relations and meet company standards.
