What you’ll do:
- Prepare and present food to the notified standard, ensuring the ethos of Fresh Food from Scratch is followed
- Complete any administration as requested including food temperatures, cleaning schedules, delivery temperatures, stock takes etc.
- Ensure that all food is prepared with due care and attention, particularly in regards to special dietary requirements, allergens and shelf life
- Ensure that the kitchen is maintained in a clean, organized manner and all food safety and health and safety policies and procedures are followed
- Complete all cleaning schedules to the agreed standard
What you bring:
- Awareness of manual handling techniques.
- Awareness of Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations (COSHH) and chemical safety.
- Experience of kitchen equipment.

Package Description
Assistant Chef
- 35 hours per week
- Monday- Friday
- 7.00am till 2.15pm
- £11.00 per hour
- Term time only
- Free parking onsite
- Meals provided whilst on shift
- Access to gym (after school is closed)
- Full training provided
- Annual leave April - April 20 days per calendar year which increases with service
