Job Description:
As a Administrator at Worthy Down Barracks, SO21 2RG. You'll be integral to the smooth running of the site,handling a wide range of administrative tasks. Your organisational skills will ensure that everything behind the scenes operates efficiently, while providing the support needed by our managers. You’ll interact with Armed Forces personnel daily, improving their quality of life and making a positive impact on all you encounter.
What You’ll Do:
Continue to develop your own skills and knowledge within the position, including undertaking any required training courses.
Maintain excellent client and customer relationships.
Attend team briefs, huddles, and meetings as required.
Participate in performance development reviews to discuss job standards and agree on development activities.
Maintain a clean and tidy work area at all times.
Uphold high levels of personal hygiene and wear the appropriate uniform and PPE as required.
Care for all available resources, including equipment, materials, and supplies, as directed.
Report any near-miss occurrences, accidents, or faulty equipment to management.
Ensure effective communication with your line manager, team, customers, and client organisation.
Maintain all areas of responsibility to the agreed service standards and in line with the applicable service offer.
Respond promptly to customer queries.
Support with the ordering of consumables as required.
Act as the site champion for Security.
Carry out any requested and appropriate tasks set by the General Manager and Site Service Delivery Manager.
Undertake any other reasonable duties and/or instructions as directed by management.
What You Bring:
Essential:
Excellent standard of literacy and numeracy.
Strong command of written and spoken English.
Customer service focused, with a commitment to providing a helpful, prompt, and responsive service.
Sound practical knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Well organised, with the ability to work effectively under tight deadlines.
Accurate data entry skills and excellent attention to detail.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with proven experience in engaging a wide range of individuals and teams at different levels, including delivering excellent telephone service.
Desirable:
Experience working within a military environment.
Previous experience in a client-facing role.
