About the Role
Sodexo is looking for a reliable and proactive Janitor to join our team at the Smith & Nephew site in Hull.
This is a varied, hands-on role supporting the delivery of onsite services, including cleaning, portering, gardening and waste management. You'll help ensure the site remains clean, safe and well maintained while providing a professional service to our client and customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out cleaning and general janitorial duties to required standards
- Support portering, gardening and waste management activities as required
- Respond to planned, reactive and ad hoc tasks across the site
- Use cleaning chemicals, equipment and safety signage correctly and safely
- Keep cleaning equipment and storage areas clean, safe and organised
- Report hazards, maintenance issues and low stock levels promptly
- Follow all Sodexo and Smith & Nephew Health & Safety, COSHH, security and site procedures

- A flexible, proactive approach with good attention to detail
- Able to work to schedules and consistently achieve required standards
- Professional, friendly and committed to providing good customer service
- Health & Safety and COSHH trained
