Job Introduction
Are you passionate about maintaining high standards of cleanliness and being part of a hardworking facilities team? Sodexo is recruiting a reliable and motivated Industrial Janitor to join our team and help ensure a safe, clean, and efficient working environment across the site.
What you’ll do:
- Clean stairs, factory floors, and keep plant equipment free from dust
- Sweep and dispose of sand spillages in the Batch area as needed
- Regularly sweep and mop floors using degreasing cleaning detergents
- Maintain outdoor grounds by removing debris, litter, and cleaning surfaces with a pressure washer
- Assist with waste handling, including refuse removal, cleaning refuse areas, and supporting other teams when required
- Follow health & safety procedures, attend training, and carry out additional duties such as traffic marshalling, car park maintenance, and winter gritting
What you bring:
- Reliable and hardworking, with a strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Previous cleaning or industrial janitorial experience preferred
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Physically fit and capable of handling manual tasks in an industrial environment
- Committed to health & safety procedures and willing to undertake training
