  • £54,000pa - £57,000pa + excellent bonus + benefits
  • 40hrs pw Monday – Friday 8am to 5pm with flexibility required to cover on call rota

About the Role

Reporting to the Head of Facilities Management & Workplace Experience, you'll lead the delivery of high-quality hard and soft FM services across campus operations while championing a people-first workplace experience.

You'll work closely with university stakeholders, operational teams and Sodexo leadership to ensure services consistently exceed expectations and contractual requirements.

This role offers significant scope to influence strategy, drive innovation and embed best-in-class FM practices across the estate.

  • Leading the operational delivery of integrated facilities management services across multiple campuses
  • Building trusted relationships with key university stakeholders and clients
  • Creating exceptional workplace experiences that place people, wellbeing and customer satisfaction at the heart of service delivery
  • Driving statutory and regulatory compliance across all FM activities
  • Monitoring performance against KPIs, SLAs and contractual obligations
  • Managing campus budgets and supporting financial processes
  • Leading and developing teams to achieve high standards of service excellence
  • Overseeing grounds maintenance services and fleet compliance
  • Identifying opportunities for innovation, efficiency and continuous improvement
  • Supporting emergency and out-of-hours response when required
  • Contributing to strategic planning and long-term service development

What We’re Looking For

We're looking for a confident and experienced Facilities Management professional who combines operational expertise with strong leadership and customer focus.

You'll have:

  • Extensive experience managing both hard and soft FM services within a large, complex environment
  • A proven track record in Integrated Facilities Management (IFM)
  • Strong leadership experience with the ability to motivate and develop teams
  • Experience creating outstanding workplace and customer experiences
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills
  • Strong commercial awareness and budget management experience
  • Experience analysing performance data and driving service improvements
  • Knowledge of compliance, health & safety legislation and industry best practice
  • Experience working with CAFM/CMMS systems and performance reporting tools
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach with a passion for continual improvement
