Note this is a cross-site role which initially incorporates the possibility of working within all 3 cleaning roles
up until the new area is fully operational at which stage defined working roles will be agreed.

What you'll do:

• Complete all mandatory, non-mandatory, client and company training to ensure you are fully trained to work safely in GMP, Non-GMP and Industrial areas.

• Complete planned and corrective maintenance (PM/CM) on the client site within the required timescales.

• Carry out Industrial duties only after the appropriate training has been completed.

• Complete power washing and external grounds duties on a monthly basis when working in Industrial areas, where required.

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness in service chases, plantrooms and penthouses as part of the Industrial team, where required.

• Have a full understanding of all areas requiring cleaning and ensure they are cleaned efficiently, safely and to the required standard in line with client SOPs and procedures.

• Use cleaning equipment, materials and chemicals correctly and only after completing the relevant COSHH and equipment training. Report, label and do not use faulty equipment.

• Report safety hazards, damaged equipment or other concerns to the Line Manager immediately.

• Use appropriate safety signage, including wet-floor signs, and warn customers where necessary.

• Minimise unnecessary use and waste of cleaning materials and supplies.

• Keep cleaning stores clean, tidy and secure, with equipment stored safely.

• Follow all client and company security requirements for cleaning materials, equipment and buildings, reporting any shortages or discrepancies.

• Maintain high standards of personal hygiene, appearance and cleanliness, and wear the required company uniform.

• Report low stock levels of cleaning materials so supplies can be reordered.

• Provide cover in other areas during staff sickness or holidays when required.

• Keep all cleaning equipment clean and in safe working condition, reporting defects immediately.

• Comply with all company, client and statutory requirements relating to Health & Safety, hygiene, fire safety, COSHH and safe working practices.

• Accurately and legibly complete all required forms, reports, logs, records and electronic documentation.

• Carry out any other reasonable duties as directed by management.

• In GMP areas, comply with current cGMP requirements and relevant SOPs, and ensure all duties and documentation are completed accurately and correctly.
