About the Role

As a Hospitality Food Service Assistant, you’ll support the delivery of hospitality and catering events across the site.

You’ll help prepare food and refreshments, set up and present food displays, support the smooth running of hospitality events and ensure all areas are left clean, tidy and ready for the next service.

Working as part of a supportive team, you’ll help deliver a professional and welcoming service while maintaining high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness and safety.

What You’ll Do

• Assist with the preparation of food and refreshments for hospitality events and functions.
• Set up hospitality areas, including food displays, service stations and refreshments.
• Present and replenish food and beverages to a high standard.
• Support the delivery and smooth running of hospitality events.
• Clear down event and service areas once functions have finished.
• Ensure kitchen, hospitality and dining areas are kept clean, tidy and organised.
• Wash and store equipment appropriately.
• Assist with deliveries and ensure stock and supplies are stored correctly.
• Follow all food hygiene, allergen, health and safety procedures.
• Provide a friendly, professional and helpful service to guests, colleagues and visitors.
• Work flexibly as part of the wider catering and hospitality team

• Previous catering or food service experience is helpful but not essential, as full training will be provided

Additional Information

Term Time Only – Equated Pay
This role works 38 weeks per year. Your salary will be paid in equal monthly instalments across 12 months, meaning you receive consistent pay throughout the year, including during school closure periods.
