We’re looking for an experienced and inspiring Head of Workplace Experience to lead the delivery and continued evolution of workplace services within a prestigious global headquarters environment.

This is a high-profile leadership role with responsibility for creating an exceptional experience for employees, visitors, clients and senior executives. You’ll bring together people, hospitality and workplace services to ensure every interaction with the workplace feels seamless, engaging and reflective of a world-class organisation.

Working in close partnership with senior client stakeholders and wider facilities teams, you’ll shape the Workplace Experience strategy while driving innovation, operational excellence and continuous improvement.

What you’ll do

As Head of Workplace Experience, you’ll lead a diverse portfolio of services including Reception, Guest Services, Switchboard, Catering, Events & Hospitality and Post Room, while partnering closely with Soft Services, Security and Technical Services.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Leading and inspiring Workplace Experience teams to consistently deliver an outstanding employee, visitor and client experience.
  • Developing and delivering a Workplace Experience strategy that supports employee engagement, productivity, wellbeing and organisational culture.
  • Acting as a trusted partner to C-suite and senior client stakeholders, providing insight and leadership around workplace experience, service innovation and operational excellence.
  • Creating a strong hospitality-led culture where service excellence is embedded across every workplace touchpoint.
  • Driving the evolution and transformation of workplace services using employee feedback, performance data, workplace analytics and industry best practice.
  • Leading workplace change programmes, site development plans and experience-led initiatives.
  • Ensuring services consistently achieve contractual requirements, KPIs, SLAs and agreed customer experience standards.
  • Taking ownership of colleague engagement and developing action plans that strengthen culture, retention and team performance.
  • Leading recruitment, onboarding, performance, development, succession planning and recognition across your teams.
  • Managing service partners and suppliers to ensure consistent quality and performance.
  • Taking ownership of operational budgets while identifying efficiencies and opportunities to create additional value.
  • Championing health, safety, wellbeing and compliance across all workplace services.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve workplace utilisation, expand services and introduce new experience-led solutions.

What we’re looking for

You’ll be an established workplace, facilities or hospitality leader who understands that exceptional workplace experience goes far beyond the physical environment. It’s about creating a place where people feel welcomed, supported and able to perform at their best.

You’ll bring:

  • 5+ years’ experience in a senior workplace, facilities or hospitality leadership role.
  • Experience leading a multi-disciplinary Workplace Experience team.
  • A background within a premium corporate environment, such as a global headquarters, FMCG, banking or technology organisation.
  • Experience delivering services to C-suite stakeholders, senior executives and VIP visitors.
  • Strong client and stakeholder management skills with the credibility to operate at senior leadership level.
  • A track record of improving employee or customer experience through innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Strong commercial, budget and contract management capability.
  • Experience managing suppliers and service partners.
  • A hospitality-led approach to workplace and service delivery.
  • Experience delivering employee engagement and workplace experience programmes.

Why this role?

This is an opportunity to take ownership of Workplace Experience within a complex, high-profile global headquarters and influence how employees, executives, clients and visitors experience the workplace every day.

You’ll have the scope to shape strategy, develop high-performing teams, introduce new ideas and drive meaningful workplace transformation, while working alongside senior stakeholders to ensure services continue to evolve with the needs of the business.

If you’re passionate about combining workplace strategy, hospitality, people leadership and operational excellence to create exceptional experiences, we’d love to hear from you.
