We’re looking for a professional, proactive and customer-focused Guest Services Assistant to join our team in a prestigious corporate environment, where delivering an exceptional first impression and a five-star customer experience is at the heart of everything we do..

You will play a key role in delivering an exceptional customer experience, supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the site and ensuring a welcoming, safe and professional environment for employees, visitors and contractors.

What you'll do

• Welcome visitors and manage visitor registration, access passes and reception duties.

• Answer telephone calls and provide a professional, friendly and efficient switchboard service.

• Manage incoming and outgoing mail, parcels, couriers and office supplies.

• Support meeting room bookings and liaise with the Hospitality Team regarding catering requirements.

• Log helpdesk requests, monitor progress and escalate issues where necessary.

• Support site security, including access control, keys, CCTV and building opening and closing where required.

• Monitor facilities, report faults and help maintain a safe, clean and well-presented workplace.

• Maintain accurate records and complete reports as required.

• Build positive relationships with clients, colleagues, visitors and external suppliers.

• Follow all company policies and health and safety procedures.

What you'll bring

You will have a strong customer service background and take pride in delivering a high standard of service. You will be organised, reliable and confident managing multiple tasks in a busy environment.

You will also have:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise workloads.

• A proactive approach to problem-solving.

• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• A professional, calm and helpful manner.

• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.

• Experience in reception, facilities, mailroom or guest services is desirable.

• Qualifications and training

  Desirable: IOSH qualification, SIA, First Aid, Manual Handling and Display Screen Equipment (DSE) training.
