GMP Protocol Specialist

GrangeCastle, Dublin 22 - Full Time

We're looking for someone to maintain and oversee cleanroom protocol compliance, contamination control measures, gowning standards, and manufacturing cleanliness procedures to ensure product quality, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence within controlled environments.

What you'll do

• Cleanroom Compliance: Monitor and enforce cleanroom behaviour, contamination control, and entry/exit protocols for all personnel, contractors, visitors, and suppliers.
• Gowning & Training: Oversee gowning procedures, ensure correct use of PPE and cleanroom garments, and provide training, competency assessments, and refresher training.
• Contamination Control: Conduct routine inspections and audits to identify contamination risks, maintain cleanliness standards, and support contamination investigations and CAPA.
• Manufacturing Compliance: Ensure manufacturing personnel follow approved SOPs, work instructions, GMP requirements, and cleanroom procedures, escalating any deviations or quality concerns.
• Cleaning & Sanitation: Verify cleaning and sanitation activities are completed to approved procedures and schedules, including inspection and release of critical production areas.
• Materials & Housekeeping: Ensure appropriate segregation, storage, and handling of materials, tools, waste, consumables, cleaning equipment, and chemicals within controlled environments.
• Documentation & Audits: Maintain accurate inspection, audit, deviation, and electronic records, while supporting internal audits, regulatory inspections, investigations, risk assessments, and continuous improvement.
• Health, Safety & Environment: Promote a strong safety and contamination-awareness culture, identify and report hazards, and ensure compliance with H&S, COSHH, PPE, emergency procedures, GMP, and ISO standards.

What you'll bring

• Experience working in a cleanroom, GMP, pharmaceutical, semiconductor, biotechnology, medical device, or advanced manufacturing environment is essential.
• Understanding of contamination control principles and cleanroom disciplines.
• Knowledge of SOP compliance and quality systems.
• Strong attention to detail and observational skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
