- Weekday shifts: 06:00–14:00, 08:00–16:00 or 12:30–20:30
- Weekend shifts: 08:00–17:00

Sodexo is seeking a motivated and customer-focused General Assistant to join our team supporting the Ministry of Defence. You'll help deliver excellent catering and customer service, maintaining high standards of presentation, cleanliness, and hospitality while working as part of a friendly and professional team. What you’ll do:
- Lead by example, supporting and motivating the team to deliver an exceptional catering and customer service experience every day.
- Create a welcoming dining environment by assisting with food service, preparing service areas, and ensuring customers receive a friendly, efficient service.
- Maintain outstanding standards of cleanliness, food safety, hygiene, and presentation, ensuring our facilities are always safe, clean, and ready for service.
- Keep the operation running smoothly by overseeing daily tasks, managing equipment, stock, cash handling, and reporting any maintenance or operational issues.
- Support continuous improvement by coaching colleagues, promoting best practice, and helping to deliver a high-quality catering service that meets the standards of Sodexo and the Ministry of Defence.
What you bring:
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills and take on a variety of tasks.
- A proactive, adaptable approach with the flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships across different teams.
- A commitment to delivering excellent customer service and maintaining high standards.
- No previous experience is required – full training will be provided.
