Join Sodexo as a Front of House Manager in Telford, where you’ll play a key role in delivering an exceptional workplace experience within a busy, high-profile corporate environment. Supporting the Facilities Manager, you’ll oversee a range of services including reception, cleaning, porterage, hospitality, catering and waste management, ensuring everything runs smoothly and the highest standards of service are maintained. This is an exciting opportunity to lead teams, build strong client relationships and make a real difference to the day-to-day experience of everyone on site.
What you’ll do:
- Support the Facilities Manager in overseeing all site services, ensuring safe, efficient delivery in line with contractual requirements, SLAs, KPIs and client expectations.
- Provide visible leadership across Reception, Cleaning, Porterage, Hospitality, Catering, Waste Management and support services, coaching teams and managing performance, training and staffing levels.
- Act as the key point of escalation for operational issues, customer concerns and incidents, taking responsibility for site operations in the Facilities Manager’s absence.
- Monitor service quality and performance through inspections, audits and reviews, implementing improvements and maintaining strong relationships with clients, suppliers and contractors.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation, food safety, COSHH, fire safety, company policies and operational procedures, promoting a strong safety culture across the site.
- Support budget management, operational reporting, compliance records, customer experience initiatives and continuous improvement, promoting Sodexo values and delivering excellent service standards.
What you bring:
- Previous facilities management experience, ideally across both Soft and Hard FM services.
- Proven experience managing teams, providing leadership, motivation, coaching and training.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients, customers and colleagues at all levels.
- Financially astute, with experience managing budgets and controlling operational costs.
- Experience in Hard FM, with relevant technical knowledge and an understanding of risk assessments and compliance.
- Desirable: NEBOSH qualification, Authorising Person certification, Risk Assessment certification and ISO Standards Internal Auditor qualification.
