Job Description
Sodexo are seeking a friendly, reliable and proactive Front of House Café & Hospitality Assistant in Bracknell, RG121HL, to support the smooth daily running of our café and hospitality services. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a busy environment, takes pride in delivering excellent customer service, and is confident working as part of a team.
The role is varied and hands-on, requiring a positive attitude, strong communication skills and the ability to adapt to business needs.
Main Responsibilities
- Operate the café/restaurant till accurately and efficiently
- Serve hot and cold food and beverages from the café deli counter
- Support the team during busy service periods
- Replenish chillers, confectionery displays and general café supplies
- Carry out weekly stock checks and report ordering requirements
- Liaise with the Head Chef regarding stock levels
- Prepare and set up meeting room hospitality trolleys, including beverages and food
- Deliver and collect hospitality orders across the site
- Maintain a clean, tidy and well-organised café environment
- Provide excellent customer service at all times
- Clear and clean café/restaurant tables promptly and efficiently
- Clean and restock office vending machines and bean-to-cup coffee machines
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills with colleagues and management
- Strong customer-facing skills with a professional and friendly manner
- PC literate (confident using basic computer systems)
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible and willing to support the business when required
- Previous hospitality experience is desirable but not essential
- No barista experience required – full training can be provided
