Working Monday to Friday during school term time, this is a fantastic opportunity for someone who already has catering experience and is looking to bring their skills into an education environment.
You’ll play an important role in supporting the daily food service operation, helping to prepare and serve meals while maintaining high standards of food safety, cleanliness and customer service.
As a Food Service Assistant, you’ll support the catering team throughout the daily meal service, helping ensure food is prepared, presented and served to a high standard.
You’ll work in a busy school environment, so we’re looking for someone who is confident working in catering and able to hit the ground running.
You’ll be working closely with the wider catering team to ensure students and staff receive a friendly, efficient and high-quality service.
Previous experience working within a school or education catering environment would be desirable but is not essential.

Term Time Only – Equated Pay
This role works 39 weeks per year. Your salary will be paid in equal monthly instalments across 12 months, meaning you receive consistent pay throughout the year, including during school closure periods.
