Job Introduction
Are you passionate about delivering excellent customer service and being part of a dynamic food service team? Sodexo is recruiting a friendly and reliable Food Service Assistant to join our team and help us provide outstanding food experiences for our customers.
What you’ll do:
- Provide friendly, efficient customer service, communicating clearly and maintaining a helpful attitude
- Serve food and beverages to company standards in a clean, hygienic environment
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, service counters, equipment, and kitchen areas, following cleaning rotas and procedures
- Monitor stock levels, load service counters, fill vending machines, and check deliveries and food temperatures
- Operate tills during service periods and assist with any reasonable management requests
- Multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment, attending training as required and managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously
What you bring:
- Excellent communication skills
- Previous food handling experience
- Ability to follow all health and safety practices
- Strong customer service skills
- Flexible and adaptable to varying shifts
- Clean driver’s license (preferred)
- Must be aged 18 or over
