We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Food Service Assistant to join our catering team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced hospitality environment and takes pride in delivering outstanding customer service.

In this role, you will support the preparation, presentation, and service of food and beverages while ensuring high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and customer satisfaction are maintained at all times.

What you'll do:

• • Deliver a professional and friendly service to customers across all catering areas
  • Support food preparation, presentation, and service to a high standard
  • Serve customers efficiently during busy service periods
  • Operate tills and complete sales documentation accurately
  • Maintain clean and hygienic front of house areas, equipment, counters, and dining spaces
  • Monitor and replenish stock levels during service
  • Check deliveries and record food temperatures in line with food safety procedures
  • Support with special events and functions when required
  • Handle customer queries, complaints, and feedback professionally
  • Assist across other areas of the operation during holidays or sickness cover
  • Follow all health & safety, hygiene, COSHH, and company procedures at all times

What you'll bring:

• • Proactive, reliable, and customer-focused
  • A strong team player with excellent communication skills
  • Hands-on, adaptable, and able to thrive in a busy environment
  • Detail-oriented with high standards of cleanliness and presentation
• • Previous catering or hospitality experience
    • Strong customer service skills and a passion for delivering quality service
    • Experience working to health, safety, and compliance standards
    • Food safety or health & safety qualifications are desirable but not essential
