We're recruiting 11 Food Service Assistants to support our catering operations across University of Galway locations. Whether you're looking for full-time or part-time work, you'll play an important role in delivering excellent customer service to students, staff and visitors in a vibrant campus environment.

What you'll do:
- Deliver friendly and welcoming service to colleagues, clients and students
- Assist with food preparation, service setup and replenishment
- Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service
- Keep dining and service areas clean, tidy and well organised
- Support the wider catering team during busy service periods
- Follow food safety, allergen, hygiene and health & safety procedures
- Help create a positive dining experience for all customers
What you'll bring:
- Previous hospitality, retail or food service experience is beneficial but not essential
- A positive attitude and strong customer service skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- A commitment to cleanliness and food safety standards
- Reliability, flexibility and a willingness to learn
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
About the roles:
We have a range of opportunities available across our University of Galway catering locations:
- Full Time positions (up to 37.5 hours per week)
- Part Time positions available
- Fixed Term contracts running from September to April and September to December
- Monday to Friday working patterns
- Campus-based locations across North and South Campus
