Job Introduction
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Facilities Support Manager to join our team and support the delivery of high-quality facilities management services across HMRC West.
Working closely with the Head of Operations and Senior Operations Lead, you will play a key role in overseeing operational delivery across multiple sites, ensuring that facilities services are safe, compliant, efficient and delivered to the required standards.
You will provide leadership, guidance and support to Facilities Managers and operational teams, helping to drive performance, continuous improvement and excellent customer service.
What You'll Do
- Oversee the delivery of FM services across multiple sites.
- Support Facilities Managers and operational teams to achieve high performance.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety, quality and contractual requirements.
- Manage budgets, costs, KPIs and operational performance.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors and stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement and identify opportunities to improve service delivery.
- Coach and develop team members to support a high-performing team.
What You Bring
- Previous experience in Facilities Management, ideally across both hard and soft services.
- Proven experience managing and developing teams.
- Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working collaboratively with colleagues, clients and wider stakeholder groups.
- Strong knowledge of health and safety, compliance and operational procedures.
- Experience managing budgets and understanding financial performance.
- The ability to motivate, coach and develop others.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities across different sites.
- A proactive approach to identifying improvements and delivering operational excellence.
- The confidence to communicate effectively with customers, clients, contractors and employees at all levels.
