Are you a skilled and passionate Chef looking for your next opportunity?
Sodexo is looking for a dedicated Cook to join our team at Bulford, Wiltshire. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Chef to be part of a professional catering environment, preparing and serving high-quality meals for military personnel.
You will play a key role in delivering outstanding food standards every day, ensuring meals are prepared with care, consistency, and attention to detail. Working as part of a supportive kitchen team, you will use your culinary skills and experience to provide a reliable and high-quality service.
What you’ll do:
- Prepare, cook, and serve high-quality meals within a busy kitchen environment
- Ensure all food is prepared, presented, and served to the highest standards
- Maintain excellent food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards in line with EHO requirements
- Work closely with the catering team to deliver an efficient and professional service
- Prepare meals for military personnel, ensuring consistency and quality every day
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and organisation, following best practice standards
- Support events and special functions, showcasing your culinary skills and expertise
- Take responsibility for bulk cooking while maintaining excellent standards across all dishes
What you bring:
- Previous experience as a Chef within a catering, hospitality, or food service environment
- Minimum of 5 years’ culinary experience
- Relevant culinary qualifications such as City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ Level 2/3 in Professional Cookery
- Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards (IOSH qualification desirable)
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen environment while maintaining high standards
- A passion for food, excellent attention to detail, and pride in delivering quality meals
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
