What you'll do

• To manage daily the effective operation of the security service across site and work closely with the security supervisor and manager.
• To train newly appointed security control room operators in line with Sodexo mandatory requirements and site-specific requirements.
• To liaise with Sodexo and client personnel as necessary and as instructed to ensure the provision of an efficient and effective security service.
• To prioritise tasks and respond to ad hoc requests.
• To complete and submit report forms relating to any accident/incident on the Sodexo 360 reporting tool and the Diageo reporting system
• To ensure the necessary internal security audits are undertaken, provide a detailed action plan and manage all non-compliance
• To ensure security, respond immediately to intruder/panic/fire alarms upon activation by communicating with patrol officers.
• To ensure all incidents are recorded in the daily occurrence book via the 360 system.
• Ensure officers are completing DOBs, handovers and patrols using the 360 system.
• Ensure all Diageo and Sodexo documentation is completed as per requirements.
• Ensure all relevant Sodexo/client paperwork is completed and audited to ensure accuracy.
• To ensure the key management process is followed with audits completed.
• To ensure all necessary patrols are being conducted efficiently by the team and escalate as needed to the supervisor and manager.
• To report any faults or defects immediately to the help desk and inform the supervisor
• To provide written reports and witness statements to external agencies if required.
• To enforce Sodexo security-related procedures and SOP’s.
• To monitor/manage the CCTV system, access control system, fire alarm system and panic alarm system.
• To manage the access control JML process along with issuing of cards
• Manage the security consumable levels with card, lanyards etc
• Assist with managing the car park ensuring everyone is following the agreed process and badges.
• To attend training courses as required.
• Ensure site is compliant with the client’s standards.
• Ensure GDPR compliance with all clients’ and Sodexo standards.
• To ensure all officers are in the correct uniform and meet high standards

• PSA licence – Essential
• To be able to develop and build good client & customer relationships. - Essential
• Security experience with strong communication skills – Essential
• Strong security supervisory experience within a manufacturing and gatehouse environment – Essential
• Relationship management, understanding of external and internal customer management - Essential
• To be able to prioritise and complete tasks. - Essential
• Able to respond to and control emergencies. - Essential
• Excellent communication skills. - Essential
• Knowledge and understanding of GDPR- Essential
• To be able to write accurate, legible operational logs, security reports and statements. – Essential
• Able to operate Microsoft/Excel/PowerPoint and SharePoint – Essential
