About the role
The Colonnades at The Signet Library are currently looking to add a Commi Chef to our talented team. We are looking for a passionate, enthusiastic and motivated individual. You will join our small yet strong team who provides friendly yet professional service in a beautiful Georgian setting. Located in the heart of Edinburgh’s Old Town on the Royal Mile, Colonnades at the Signet Library is the perfect place for ‘Edinburgh’s finest afternoon tea’.
Salary: £13.00 per hour + weekly share of gratuities.
Shift lengths are typically during the day.
Casual hours across the week.
Excellent training and development opportunities.
Opportunity to get involved across the wider business during peak times.
What you'll do
- Assisting the kitchen team with the daily preparation and mis-en-place for service
- Helping both savoury and sweet sections with preparation of food
- Assisting the kitchen team with unloading and putting away deliveries, emptying bins, and ensuring all equipment is clean and put away correctly.
