Cleaning Supervisor

Springtown Industrial Estate, Derry - Part Time - Permanent

What you'll do

  • Supervise and support cleaning teams to deliver high standards across designated areas in line with client and company expectations.
  • Ensure all cleaning tasks (daily, weekly and periodic) are completed efficiently and to the required quality standards.
  • Maintain a safe working environment by ensuring compliance with health & safety policies, COSHH procedures and site rules.
  • Monitor cleaning activities and ensure services are delivered in line with agreed scope of works and performance targets.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues, clients and management to build positive working relationships.
  • Ensure all cleaning equipment and materials are used correctly, maintained safely and stored appropriately.
  • Identify and report hazards, equipment faults, incidents or low stock levels promptly to management.
  • Promote teamwork and support the development of a motivated, high-performing cleaning team

What you'll bring

  • Previous supervisory experience in a cleaning, facilities, or soft services environment
  • Good knowledge of health & safety practices, including COSHH and safe use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and maintain high cleaning standards.
  • A proactive and reliable approach with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with colleagues and clients.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to delivering excellent customer service and representing the company professionally.
  • Flexibility to support operational needs, including occasional out-of-hours or weekend work when required.
