Cleaning Supervisor

Dublin Airport - Full time

Please note:

Due to airport security requirements, applicants must hold a valid passport with at least 6 months' validity remaining, have a minimum B2 level of English, and be able to successfully complete Garda Vetting and Aviation Security Clearance. Employment is conditional upon meeting all of these requirements.

As a Cleaning Supervisor, you will support the day-to-day delivery of cleaning services across designated airport areas, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene and customer service are maintained at all times. You will lead and motivate a team of cleaning operatives while ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and in line with Sodexo and airport procedures.

What you'll do

• Supervise and coordinate a team of cleaning operatives across multiple airport locations.
• Allocate daily work schedules and monitor completion of tasks.
• Carry out regular quality inspections to ensure cleaning standards consistently meet contractual requirements.
• Lead by example and provide hands-on support where operationally required.
• Deliver team briefings and ensure effective communication across shifts.
• Train, coach and support new and existing team members.
• Monitor attendance, performance and employee engagement.
• Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety, COSHH and airport security procedures.
• Complete daily reports, audits and operational documentation accurately.
• Manage stock levels and ensure cleaning equipment and materials are maintained and used correctly.
• Respond promptly to operational issues, customer requests and service requirements.
• Work collaboratively with Sodexo management and airport stakeholders to maintain excellent service delivery.
• Promote a positive safety culture and encourage continuous improvement.

What you'll bring

• Previous experience in a Cleaning Supervisor, Team Leader or similar supervisory role.
• Experience leading teams within commercial, industrial, transport, healthcare, hospitality or facilities management environments.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure in a busy operational environment.
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and digital reporting systems.
• Flexible approach to working rotating shifts.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high cleaning standards
