Weekend Cleaning Operator

Sodexo is looking for a reliable and detail-focused Weekend Cleaning Operator to join our team in Oban.

You’ll play an important role in maintaining a clean, safe and professional workplace, ensuring all areas are serviced in line with agreed cleaning schedules and standards. Working as part of a wider team, you’ll also provide support to the Facilities operation when required.

What you’ll do:

• Carry out scheduled cleaning duties across the office site, ensuring all areas are maintained to the required service standards
• Complete general housekeeping duties to maintain a clean, organised and welcoming environment
• Follow cleaning schedules and ensure tasks are completed to the required standards
• Use cleaning equipment and PPE correctly and safely
• Follow all Sodexo and client health, safety, hygiene and site procedures
• Report any incidents, defects, damage or other issues promptly to the appropriate manager
• Provide a professional, polite and courteous service to customers and colleagues
• Support other areas of the Facilities operation when required
• Complete any required documentation accurately and in line with procedures

What you’ll bring:

• Previous experience in a similar cleaning role is desirable
• Good customer service and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and a well-organised approach
• Ability to follow instructions, prioritise tasks and work to agreed schedules
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A flexible and reliable approach to supporting the wider team when required
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety and service
