Cleaning Operative
at Worthy Down Camp, Winchester, SO21 2RG
We are looking for a reliable Cleaning Operative to maintain high standards of cleanliness across the site. This role includes office spaces, bathrooms, conference rooms, auditoriums, and accommodation areas, ensuring a safe, hygienic, and welcoming environment.
What You’ll Do
- Maintain all areas to required cleanliness standards within set timeframes
Follow cleaning schedules and use chemicals and equipment safely
Make beds and clean bedrooms in accommodation areas
Attend training, team briefs, and performance reviews as required
Maintain personal hygiene, uniform, and PPE standards
Care for cleaning materials, equipment, and supplies
Report accidents, near misses, or faulty equipment immediately
Maintain strong communication with managers, team, and clients
Carry out any other reasonable tasks as directed by management
What You Bring
Essential
Good communication skills
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Attention to detail
Able to perform manual handling duties
Desirable
Experience working within a military environment
