Job Description
We are currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking Cleaner to join our team at HMRC Exeter. You will be responsible for delivering high standards of cleaning across a court building, ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment at all times.
What You’ll Do
Carry out cleaning duties as directed by the Supervisor / Soft Services Manager
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and personal presentation (uniform provided)
Ensure all areas are cleaned efficiently and to required standards
Follow all Health & Safety and COSHH regulations
Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely (as trained)
Report faults, defects, and H&S concerns immediately
Display and remove wet floor signage as required
Maintain cleaning stores and equipment in a safe, tidy condition
Monitor stock levels and report shortages
Provide cover during sickness and annual leave
Maintain confidentiality at all times
What You Bring
Previous cleaning experience preferred
Strong attention to detail
Customer service experience
Good understanding of health & safety procedures
Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently
Commitment to delivering consistent service standards
