Job Description:
We are looking for a reliable and professional Cleaning Operative to join our team and support the delivery of high-quality cleaning and housekeeping services at RAF Brize Norton
You will play an important role in maintaining excellent standards of cleanliness, hygiene and customer service across the site. You will work as part of the wider operational team, ensuring services are delivered in line with agreed standards, procedures and health & safety requirements.
What You’ll Do:
- Carry out planned cleaning and housekeeping duties across the site.
- Maintain consistently high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Ensure services are delivered in line with agreed service standards, KPIs and contractual requirements.
- Support operational excellence within your area of responsibility.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, customers and colleagues.
- Attend team briefings, huddles and meetings as required.
- Follow all company health & safety procedures and maintain safe working practices.
- Use cleaning equipment safely and responsibly, reporting any faults or issues to management.
- Maintain professional standards of conduct and presentation at all times.
- Complete all required training, including mandatory refresher training.
- Take responsibility for your own development and continue to build your skills and knowledge.
- Carry out any other reasonable duties as requested by management.
What You Bring:
Essential
- Previous experience working in a similar cleaning or housekeeping role.
- Good communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels.
- Ability to carry out manual handling duties associated with cleaning equipment and tasks.
- A reliable, professional and positive approach to work.
- Good attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards.
Desirable
- Previous experience working within a military environment.
