Chef Manager / Culinary Lead

Salary: £19.00 per hour

Hours: 40 hours per week

Contract Type: Permanent, Full Time

Working Pattern: 5 days per week, Monday to Friday, 07:00–15:30 or 07:30–16:00 (TBC)

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Chef Manager / Culinary Lead to join our team at Fortescue Zero in Kidlington. This newly created role has been established following a client labour review and offers an exciting opportunity to lead the culinary operation at a prestigious corporate site.

You'll be responsible for delivering outstanding food experiences, leading the kitchen team, maintaining the highest food safety standards, and driving innovation while ensuring exceptional customer service.

What you'll do

  • Lead the day-to-day operation of the kitchen and culinary team.
  • Deliver high-quality, fresh food in line with Sodexo standards.
  • Plan menus and support the development of innovative food offers.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, HACCP, COSHH and health & safety legislation.
  • Manage stock, ordering, food costs and waste effectively.
  • Lead, coach and develop the kitchen team.
  • Build strong relationships with the client and respond to changing business needs.
  • Maintain exceptional standards of presentation, cleanliness and service.

What you'll bring

  • Significant chef management experience within a corporate, hospitality or similar environment.
  • Relevant culinary qualifications as detailed in the job description.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of food safety legislation and kitchen compliance.
  • Experience managing budgets, stock control and food costs.
  • Passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
