Looking for a chef role with purpose, stability and work-life balance?

At Sodexo, we know great chefs want more than just another kitchen job. They want to create quality food, develop their skills, work in a professional environment and take pride in making a difference.

Join our team at Priory Hospital Roehampton and use your culinary expertise to help support patient wellbeing through nutritious, high-quality meals. This is an opportunity to work in a well-structured kitchen where quality, teamwork and consistency matter just as much as creativity.

Why Join Us?

Unlike many hospitality environments, this role offers the chance to focus on producing excellent food without the late-night finishes and unpredictable schedules often found in restaurants and pubs.

You'll benefit from:

  • 37.5 contracted hours per week
  • Structured rota working 5 days from 7
  • A stable and supportive working environment
  • Opportunities to contribute ideas to menus and food development
  • Ongoing training and career development
  • The chance to make a genuine impact on patients' health and wellbeing

About the Role

  • Follow recipes, specifications and dietary requirements
  • Support menu planning and recipe development
  • Assist with food ordering, stock rotation and waste control
  • Mentor and support junior chefs and kitchen colleagues
  • Maintain excellent food hygiene, health and safety standards
  • Ensure the kitchen remains clean, organised and audit-ready
  • Contribute to a positive and professional team culture

  • Ability to remain calm and organised during busy service periods
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

You'll Thrive in This Role If You

  • Enjoy producing quality food consistently
  • Take pride in presentation and attention to detail
  • Want to develop your career within a global organisation
  • Value purpose-driven work that positively impacts others
  • Prefer a stable environment with a healthier work-life balance
