What you’ll do:

• Prepare, cook and serve delicious, high-quality meals and refreshments, ensuring food is ready on time and meets the required quality and presentation standards.
• Take pride in every dish you serve, following menus and recipes while carefully managing food allergies, allergens and special dietary requirements.
• Support the smooth running of the catering service, from food preparation and cooking to service and clear-down, helping create a welcoming experience for every customer.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised kitchen, following food hygiene procedures and responding promptly to any accidents, incidents or food safety concerns.
• Work closely with colleagues to deliver an efficient, reliable catering service and ensure high standards are maintained throughout every shift.
• Take part in team meetings, training and development opportunities to strengthen your skills and support your career progression.

What you’ll bring:

• Previous experience as a Chef or in a similar professional kitchen environment.
• A passion for preparing great food and maintaining high standards of quality, presentation and service.
• A strong understanding of food hygiene, food safety and allergen management.
• A Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
• Good literacy and numeracy skills, with the ability to follow recipes, instructions and food safety procedures.
• A positive, team-focused attitude and the ability to work effectively in a busy kitchen.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills when working with colleagues, customers and clients.
• A professional, reliable and organised approach, with the flexibility to work the required shift patterns.
• A 5706/2, NVQ Level 2 Chef qualification or equivalent culinary qualification.
